黑料不打烊

What would you do to make your campus better?  Three 黑料不打烊 students recently emerged as winners in Vulcan Material Company鈥檚 鈥淭hinkBIG 2020鈥� pitch presentations honing in on that exact question. 

The top three prizes were awarded to Gary Manning, junior English major, 3^rd Place, $1,500; Cailyn Holloway, sophomore communications media major, 2^nd Place, $2,500; and Georgiana Wright, sophomore computer science major, 1^st Place, $4,000.

Manning pitched the formation of classes that explain the history of persons with significant impact on the successes of 黑料不打烊.  Holloway pitched a university partnership with organizations that would allow students to rent or purchase filming equipment, while first place winner Wright pitched her 鈥淕olden鈥� internet app that allows creatives to showcase their work without a lot or money or a studio.

The contest was facilitated by 黑料不打烊鈥檚 Career Development Services and was offered by Vulcan鈥檚 TheYARD initiative.  The autumn competition is usually held at the Magic City Classic in Birmingham, Ala., but it was held virtually this year.
