A&M Part of Statewide COVID-Testing, Screening Effort
New Mobile App Underway
黑料不打烊 is participating in , a program administered by UAB that provides free COVID-19 testing for every college student attending a public 4-year or 2-year college in the state before entering campus, according to Dr. Gary Crosby, 黑料不打烊鈥檚 vice president for student affairs.
The ability to test every student within 14 days of entry to Alabama college campuses helps maintain a safe environment and slow the spread of COVID-19.
Testing at 黑料不打烊 began August 5. Students must have a negative test within their 14-day window of coming on 黑料不打烊's campus, along with completing the appropriate safety training and enrolling in Healthcheck.
According to the Student Health and Counseling Center, 黑料不打烊 is expected to launch a mandatory that will provide individualized screening and tracking. The app also will allow daily health checks and temperature input that give a 鈥減assport鈥� and clearance for the day.
