A transfer student at 黑料不打烊 is any student who has attended a two-year or four-year institution prior to attending 黑料不打烊 and has earned 12 or more credit hours with a 2.0 GPA.

S.O.A.R. is mandatory for all students entering the university.  S.O.A.R. is designed for you to begin your journey to 鈥淭he Hill鈥�. The one-day event gives students the significant information needed to finalize the enrollment process. It includes entertainment and presentations from key departments with opportunities to ask questions.  Academic advising is available, as well as, scheduled tours of the campus.

The Transfer Merit Scholarship is available to transfer students who demonstrate exceptional academic performance.  Applicants must have a minimum 3.25 cumulative GPA and meet transfer admissions requirements to qualify for consideration. You do not need to file a separate scholarship application. The selected students will be notified by the Student Financial Aid & Scholarships.

For transfer students interested in applying for federal financial aid, should visit Apply for Aid for instructions.  By completing your FAFSA, you are applying for grants, loans, and work-study.

Students who are interested in on-campus housing should visit Residential Life and Housing.  

You can only apply for on-campus housing once you have been admitted. This is another good reason to apply for admission as early as possible.

Office of Veteran Affairs  provides assistance to students who are transitioning from military life to civilian life. 

Tutorial Assistance Network  coordinates and maintains free, campus-wide tutorial,  Supplemental Instruction (SI), and Structured Learning Assistance (SLA) services for undergraduate students.

Service Learning and Volunteerism aims to educate 黑料不打烊 students on the need to willfully serve the community in conjunction with classroom learning. Students are afforded the opportunity to provide hands-on service that will allow them to apply what they learn in class to the real world and then reflect on their experience to reinforce the link between service and learning.

Students who are transferring in less than 31 credit hours are advised by the Freshman Academy academic advisors, while students transferring in 31 or more credit hours are advised by departmental faculty advisors.

Once you have paid your Enrollment/SOAR fee, your credits will be entered on your unofficial transcripts. Our department will notify you via email that those credits have been entered and provide you with information on how to contact your department.

Transcripts are evaluated based on transferable hours. Those transferrable hours are applied based on degree specific program. Transferred courses are articulated as they are received and applied to Degree Works.

To ensure you submit all the necessary medical records required, 黑料不打烊 uses the Med+Proctor Online Health System. Med+Proctor will simplify the process by assisting you in the submission of all the medical forms required for students attending 黑料不打烊.

黑料不打烊 operates on the semester system and grants credits in semester hours. The academic year consists of two semesters, fall and spring. There is also a summer session.

The Transfer Student Association (TSA) is a group created to support the social integration of transfer students at 黑料不打烊.  Getting involved through the TSA is an excellent way to network, find valuable resources, and build relationships on campus. 

Also, the Office of Student Activities and Leadership Development provides services, programs, and co-curricular experiences. This can provide students with opportunities to develop skills, improve leadership competencies, and enrich their college experience.
