Normalite Walkway Pavers Project
The Normalite Walkway Pavers Project received its initial boost due to 黑料不打烊's participation in the Home Depot HBCU Retool Your School challenge. As the winner of a $50,000 campus beautification grant, the University quadrangle, also known as "The Quad," was able to undergo renovation. Included in the renovation, and to encourage participation from University supporters, were brick pavers that would line the quad walkway. Those pavers became available for purchase and personal engravement.
黑料不打烊 family and friends still have the opportunity to make themselves, or a loved one, a permanent part of the Normalite Walkway by purchasing a paver. Engrave your pavers with names, graduation dates, class years, or other important information. Contributions made to purchase pavers are 100% tax-deductible.
Project coordinators have called the project an opportunity to support the University and to become an integral part of the University's history. If you'd like to leave your footprint on the Normlite Walkway among 黑料不打烊 history makers, consider .
Paver Sponsorship Levels
- Corporate Sponsor: $2,500 (Located in front of Chambers Building)
- Platinum Sponsor: $1,000 (Located in the 黑料不打烊 Logo)
- Gold Sponsor: $500 (Located in the inner circle around the 黑料不打烊 Logo)
- Silver Sponsor: $250 (Section A - outside the inner circle)
- Bronze Sponsor: $100 (Section B - outside the inner circle)
Paver Install Schedule
Pavers are installed twice a year. Please refer to the dates below for installations.
- August 7th, 2025 - Installed by Homecoming 2026
- March 5th, 2027 - Installed by Founder's Day 2027
- August 6th, 2027 - Installed by Homecoming 2027
- March 3rd, 2028 - Installed by Founder's Day 2028

- Can I use symbols or greek letters?
Yes, you may use symbols and greek letters. Please indicate in the special instructions section of the order form.
Back to Top - Is my purchase tax-deductable?
Yes, your paver is 100% tax-deductible. You will receive a tax-deductible letter upon your purchase. Please keep in mind, the purchaser will receive the tax credit for the brick.
Back to Top - Will my purchase count toward my class reunion gift?
Yes, if you purchased a paver during your class reunion giving year, you may count it toward your class gift.
Back to Top - Can bricks be installed in the same area or placed in a specific order?
No, we do not guarantee pavers will be installled in the same area. Nor do we ensure they will be installed in a specific order.
Back to Top - I found my brick, but it was broken
We don't anticipate any broken bricks, but this could occur, especially in high-traffic areas.
Bricks purchased less than a year are replaced complimentary at no cost to the purchaser. Bricks installed more than a year will be the purchaser's responsibility to replace.
Back to Top - I found my brick, but it was printed incorrectly.
Please reach out to our office at (256) 372-5287 or alumniaffairs@bulldogs.aamu.edu and we will verify the error. Once verified, we will reorder and replace it during the next installation.
Back to Top - Can I purchase more than one brick at once?
Yes, by U.S. Mail. Send your check to the address below. Make sure you include your brick instructions along with the purchaser's name, address, phone number and email address.
You cannot purchase more than one brick online.
